Looking for new horizons

Cross Country, Marathon, Downhill, Enduro, there are many forms that mountain bikes have taken over the years.
However, the recent introduction of battery-assisted pedalling has brought a great revolution to the world of fat wheels. In particular, it has opened up new horizons for the most daring, who can use this means to reach points that were previously prohibitive, and it has also allowed those less accustomed to cycling to reach destinations that were unhoped for until recently and to enjoy the pleasure of experiencing the mountains from a privileged point of view with a limited physical effort.
In the Civetta area there are numerous possibilities for E-bikes, also with intermittent routes, which are summarised in the 'Civetta in E-bike' map available from the local tourist office.
The more skilled can of course try out the same routes, perhaps with slight variations, with a traditional mountain bike. In fact, over the years a competition has had a large following: the "Civetta Superbike", known among enthusiasts for the hardness of the route and the splendid views offered to those who, travelling along it with a tourist bent, pause along the way to admire the scenery and refresh themselves at the refreshment points open in summer.
