ARPAV (Agenzia Regionale per la Prevenzione e Protezione Ambientale del Veneto - Regional Agency for Environmental Prevention and Protection in the Veneto region), thanks to its meteorological centre in Arabba, provides a weather forecast for the Dolomites with a bulletin issued every day at 1:00 p.m., valid for the next 48 hours, updated at 4:00 p.m. and at 9:00 a.m. the following day, and a trend for the next 48 hours with a degree of reliability that is indicated in the bulletin.
Careful consultation of weather bulletins is a safety factor that should not be neglected when planning mountain excursions, along with all the other precautions and precautions that are put in place when moving in a mountain environment.
